OVERVIEW
myDox is a health-tech startup founded by seasoned entrepreneurs with decades of experience in healthcare. Their vision: a secure, user-friendly platform for storing and sharing critical documents. From medical records sent to hospitals, to school transcripts shared with universities, to everyday personal files—myDox makes it easy for people to organize, protect, and share what matters most.
When the founders came to us, it was already their third collaboration with NovaSlate. Having partnered with them on past ventures, they trusted us to help shape a brand that would stand on equal footing with established health-tech players. They wanted a digital presence that inspired confidence from day one—a brand that felt like it had been around for years, not just months.
THE CHALLENGE
The challenge was twofold: first, to create a visual identity that conveyed security and trust in an industry where credibility is everything; and second, to guide a brand-new company through the digital storytelling process so their messaging aligned with their product’s promise.
The founders had the experience and vision, but they leaned on us to refine their content, establish the right tone, and design a platform that felt solid, reliable, and scalable. Every detail—from the logo to the website microcopy—needed to reflect stability and professionalism, while still feeling approachable for everyday users.
LOGO DESIGN & BRANDING
We began by crafting a logo that balanced simplicity with authority—clean lines, calm colors, and an emblem that suggested both protection and organization. From there, we built a set of brand guidelines that gave myDox a consistent visual language across digital and print. The goal was timelessness, not trend-chasing, so the brand would remain relevant as the company scaled.
CONTENT STRATEGY & CONSULTATION
The founders were experts in healthcare but needed a partner to help translate that expertise into accessible, trustworthy content. We worked side by side to refine messaging, adjust tone, and clarify benefits for different audiences—from corporate clients to individual users. Through collaborative editing and coaching, we helped them find the right words to match their product’s value.
WORDPRESS DEVELOPMENT
The website was custom-built on WordPress, with selective coding to meet their needs for scalability and flexibility. Designed to feel as secure and professional as the product itself, the site serves as a central hub for information, onboarding, and client trust-building. Behind the scenes, we structured the site for performance, security, and SEO to support their growth strategy.
HOSTING MANAGEMENT
Our partnership didn’t end at launch. Today, we continue to host and maintain the website, ensuring it remains fast, reliable, and up-to-date. Ongoing support gives the myDox team peace of mind, letting them focus on building their business while we handle the technical side.
